Dinky tap is suitable for children aged 2 ½ – 4 and is a basic introduction to tap before progressing onto the IDTA Syllabus from the age of 4.
A fun, rhythmic class; the children are taught beginner steps to engaging music tracks, whilst expressing themselves through their feet and learning all about rhythm and beat with the use of instruments and props.
Suitable for: Children Only
If the class follows on or after a preschool dance ballet class than the children can wear their regulation and school ballet uniform, but with the addition of tap shoes with elastic instead of laces.
If the child just does tap than the uniform is as follows: Black sleeveless lycra leotard and blue circular skirt, black ankle socks and tap shoes with elastic instead of laces.
