🩰 IMPORTANT EXAM REGULATION HAIR AND UNIFORM FOR PREPRIMARY BALLET & PRIMARY BALLET STUDENTS 🩰
RAD BALLET EXAMINATIONS: UNIFORM AND HAIR REGULATIONS
PLEASE USE PLENTY OF HAIR SPRAY, GEL, GRIPS AND A THIN BUN NET.
STRICTLY NO MAKEUP, JEWELLERY, NAIL VARNISH OR TATTOO’S
GRADED BALLET EXAM HAIR AS FOLLOWS:
PREPRIMARY AND PRIMARY GRADE BALLET HAIR SHOULD BE WELL GROOMED PLAITS OVER HEAD, NO FRINGES, USE SAME COLOUR AS HAIR BOBBLES OR HAIR ELASTICS. NO TAILS. USE LOTS OF HAIR GEL, SPRAY AND GRIPS PLAITS OVER HEAD.
These should start just above the ears and be pinned securely in place over the top of the head ** do not pin at the front of the forehead.
Use plenty of gel and hairspray.
No clips, ribbons or bows.
GRADE 12,3, 4 HAIR SHOULD BE IN A WELL GROOMED LOW BUN.NO FRINGES. PLENTY OF HAIR GEL, SPRAY AND GRIPS. SAME COLOUR AS HAIR BOBBLES OR HAIR ELASTICS.
GRADE 5,6 HAIR HAIR: FRENCH PLAITS INTO SLICKED BACK BUN The bun should be at the back of the head close to the nape of the neck as per the picture because of the hat dance.
Please use plenty of hair grips and a fine hair net the same colour as hair to secure any loose strands of hair.
Use plenty of gel and hairspray.
No clips, ribbons or bows.
MALE CANDIDATES HAIR SHOULD BE OFF THE FACE AND NEAT.

Only 1 parent per child due to covid regulations at our venues, strictly no siblings.
Please bring your child a dry snack and a drink of water and a quiet activity (no felt tip pens)
